For decades, Ogden Golf and Country Club has served as a landmark overlooking the city of Ogden. It has seen the city grow and develop from what was once a horse and buggy driven town to what is now a diverse city; home to a myraid of businesses, an outstanding university and a variety of cultural and recreational activities.
Ogden Golf and Country Club was incorporated Oct. 31, 1914; making it the second oldest club in Utah.
The par-72 layout plays to a distance of 6,827 yards from the back tees.
For several years, the course was the site of the Mike Farrell Memorial tournament, hosted by the Weber State women's golf team in honor of the former head women's golf coach.
The Wildcat Club Athletic Fund holds its annual Crompton Golf Classic fundraising tournament, which benefits WSU Student-Athlete scholarships, at the Country Club.
