VALLEY VIEW GOLF COURSE

Another fine golfing experience in the Ogden area is Valley View Golf Course, a Golf Digest "Top Public Course" in the country.  This fabulous layout is secluded in a small valley in Davis county about 15 minutes from the Weber State campus.

From the longest tees it features 7,106 yards of golf with a par of 72. The course was designed by William Hull and opened in 1974.

The course was the site of the 2001 Big Sky Conference championships, which were won by both the Weber State men's and women's teams. The course played host to the 2007 America Sky Men's Golf Conference championships, which was also a victory for the Wildcats.

In addition to the trio of conference championships, Valley View was the site of both the Purple and Red Invitational, hosted for several years by Weber State and the University of Utah, which later became the Wildcat Invitational, hosted solely by WSU.
