WILDCAT CENTER

The Wildcat Wellness Center is available for any Weber State student looking to get in some fitness.

The 20,000-square-foot expansion to the Stromberg HPHP Complex cost $8.5 million paid for by a bond from student fee revenue. It includes a three-lane suspended track for recreational runners, an elevated pedestrian walkway, two group exercise studios, strength training areas and day-use locker rooms.

Also included is a 200-meter polyurethane indoor track as well as three full sized basketball courts, a rock climbing wall, and two strength and conditioning areas.

Before the expansion which was completed in 2013, many programs shared the Stromberg Complex and Swenson Gym.  The additional space and amenities of the Wildcat Center allow easier coordination between WSU Athletics programs, club and recreation programs, physical education classes, university wellness programs, and drop-in students, faculty and staff.
